- What did you like most?The staff was very nice and the bed and pillows were very nice also had a variety of TV channels like HBO and Cinemax to choose from
- Was there anything you didn't like?The whole facility smelled like mildew covered up by strong chemicals right when you entered in the front door. Our booking.com room was second rate and right by the storage room for the cleaning staff. In the mornings it was quite loud with cleaning staff going in and out. Plus the coffee pot didn't work, I had to use a can of air freshener to be able to stand the smell. Finally, I had to use Vicks in my nose to keep from getting a headache from all the mildew and chemical smells in order to go to sleep. There were 2 big water spots from previous leaks on the ceiling. Didn't have but 2 towels instead of 3 and I wasnt able to have an extra towel for my long hair after bathing. The small toilet with the cheapest seat I've ever seen was even more uncomfortable. There was no extra blanket in the closet to use to cover up on the couch when watching TV. Be sure to bring your own bottled water because they charge you $3.00 for a bottle of 30 cent water. There was no gift of a bottled water or a cookie either upon arrival. We went to breakfast at 8:30 and the whole buffet offerings were cold as ice right down to the coffee in the coffee pot. The bacon was as hard as a rock and the eggs rubbery and cold. My husband tried to eat a waffle and it was hard as a rock. The worst disappointment was no Holiday Inn Signature Cinnamon rolls which are my husband's favorites. When we asked about the cinnamon rolls the restaurant manager said she had no idea what we were talking about. The TV was such low quality you had to turn the volume on 90 to understand the programs we watched. I have come to expect more from HI in the past. I guess this location serves cruisers and they aren't expecting repeat business at this particular location. I know I will not stay here again for any reason.
