Hotel Features
This 4-star luxury hotel is in London's Mayfair, just off Berkeley Square. Oxford Street is half a mile away. The hotel has complimentary Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms and an award-winning restaurant. The Chesterfield Mayfair is between Hyde Park and Green Park. Buckingham Palace is half a mile away. Green Park London Underground (subway) Station and the shops of Bond Street are just 320 yards from the hotel. The Chesterfield mixes traditional British charm with modern comforts. The rooms have cable TV, complimentary bottled mineral water and a choice of bed linens and pillows for extra comfort. Guests can choose business-friendly rooms with more desk space, luxury office chairs and business extras. The leisure rooms have more storage space and seating areas. Butler's Restaurant has an AA Rosette award. Traditional Afternoon Tea is served daily and has won the Tea Guild Award of Excellence for the last three years. Important Information
Check-in is at 3pm, however the hotel will store any luggage for early arrivals. Should your room be available, you will be provided with keys immediately. To guarantee early arrival your room will need to be reserved from the night prior to arrival at the cost of one night’s accommodations. Please let the hotel know your expected time of arrival. Check-out time is 12 noon, but the hotel are happy to extend your check out time (subject to availability.) Please let the hotel know your anticipated time of departure if possible. If the hotel is exceptionally busy they do reserve the right to charge a late check-out fee. Extra beds are ONLY available in Junior and Executive Suites and not in any Standard rooms. Please be aware that on arrival at the hotel a credit or debit card or cash deposit must be provided for a pre charge/ authorization for the accommodations and for any extras. As a standard hotel policy, upon arrival an amount of £50.00 per night will be temporarily pre authorized on your card or taken

Super disappointed
- What did you like most?The location the only thing that I like about this property is the location only the location
- Was there anything you didn't like?I just wanted to share my honest feedback about our recent stay, because unfortunately, it was very disappointing—especially given how expensive the hotel is. First, the cleanliness and overall condition of the room were a big concern. For the five days we stayed, my allergic rhinitis was constantly triggered, and my son’s asthma also flared up. The room felt dusty, and we suspect the carpet may have contributed. The facilities also felt quite old and worn, which didn’t match the price we paid. Second, we were not allowed to stay in one room even though it was clearly big enough for our family of four. Because of this, we were required to get another room, which cost us around an additional £2,000. On top of that, there was a hold placed on one credit card, but the actual charge was made on a different card because they hold the amount in the 1st card and they were trying to charge again which we don’t understand that’s why it is giving us an error during the check out they should’ve gotten the amount right away to avoid this double charging. We were told the hold would be released after 7–8 working days, which is fine but still an inconvenience and we are unsure if the hold will be released at the right time since it’s christmas season!! :( Third, during checkout, we were surprised by extra charges that were explained as tips for the staff, around £15 per day per room. I told the staff I didn’t want to pay this for the extra room since it was never cleaned and we never even used it—we only booked it because we were required to. I don’t mind tipping, but it felt forced since it was automatically added at checkout. Even though they said it could be removed, the situation felt uncomfortable and stressful. After everything we went through, it didn’t feel right to be pushed into giving extra tips. Lastly, the bathroom setup was also frustrating. The toilets were very small, and it was extremely hard to control the water temperature.
